New School for Improved Homeland Safety
Posted on May 5th, 2008 by j
In past years, charter schools were frequently created to teach the skills that were either of benefit to society or to focus on teaching a trade skill. Many of these efforts were very misguided (e.g., focusing in the arts or in engineering).
This has changed, the new Delaware Academy for Public Safety and Security is underway. This school will teach SWAT tactics, prison guarding, some search and rescue and other skills the government needs to create an effective secure state. It is good to see that the focus on watching our fellow American has finally made an effective in into our education system
